I did it! I finally went and bloody did it. D stayed home, and I finally got out. For three hours. But short as it was I made it to the office. I got hugs from everyone there and spoke with my apprentice face-to-face for an hour, which we usually do over email or the phone. It was awesome. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But my god am I tired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I did well with the driving, got there in one piece without ramming anyone off the road and because I have a blue badge I parked right outside. Working out whether to take the stick out first or not was confusing but we got there. We talked tech, updating each other on everything, looking over the work that Jamie has done and what there is to be done next. I would LOVE to go to the digital sessions being run tomorrow morning but don’t think I can as D will be out. That is with Lakeem. I met him face-to-face for the first time today. Nice guy. I only saw the others briefly as they went straight into a meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Got home, well, to the house now, safe and sound. Passed out on the sofa. My day is done. Hoping to join a swimming pool club tomorrow so maybe I can sneak out in the early morning or evening for a swim and start to get this weight off me. I haven’t been moving around as much, for obvious reasons, so I need to start some form of gentle exercise and that seems the best. Plus love swimming.
