So at the risk of not getting any replies…. does anyone have any good book recommendations? I love history books, horror, and thrillers. And well comics. I LOVE comics. Perhaps too much. Not sure if people still read books or if it’s just me and my old ways but suggestions would be awesome.
The same goes for music. Any good bands/songs out there I should know about?

Currently, I’m reading the Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children series. It is excellent. Riggs has some great turns of phrase and some truly compelling characters. On the non-fiction side, I recently finished Peter Turchin’s “Ultrasociety: How 10,000 Years of War the Greatest Cooperators on Earth.” Both would make great summer reading.
Two musical discoveries I’ve made recently: the Linda Lindas and Rhiannon Giddens. The Lindas are a punk band reminiscent of The Ramones. Giddens is an opera singer turned folk singer who just wows.
There you go. If you indulge in any of them, let me know what you think.
