I would say that spirituality plays a large part in my life. Be it through silent prayer, cursing the gods or laughing manically as I preach the good word. Okay. Maybe not that last one but religion and spirituality are important to me as I want to do good in the world, karma is largely a factor. Car parking karma works, so it’s a tested model. I let people out or go in front and then magically a spare appears. Karma. Never for gain though, only balance.
I agree that most people would find that a strange way to live your life but I have more. I believe in a god in the sense of something that is far greater than what created the universe, the big bang. I don’t think we are alone and it would be foolish to assume we are. I believe in living a good life. If I can say “I did some good” at the end, I would be happy. You don’t have to go naming schools after me, a simple good deed to another human being is all that is required.
So I guess spirituality is more my beliefs and opinions.
My wife is a roman catholic. S is an atheist and B still believes that god made us but evolution happened. Not proud of my B at all there 😉 You should see my rants from years ago about how lousy faith schools were and that they existed. Freaked me out that people were being taught religion in a normal high school. Totally against that, it should be optional.
