Life

B had his end-of-school play today, the Leavers show, as he heads to high school in September. They did Grease. I feel ashamed that I was probably the only one in the audience who hadn’t watched it. Knew a few of the songs but it was all very confusing. I surmised that Sandra D rode off into the sunset with, and I have no idea of his name, into the distance. There was a car involved. I did think that Grease was the name of the main character. Oh well. It also marked my first proper outing with the stick and generally being outside the house. It was nice, I didn’t freak out or anything like I thought I would. Made it back home safely.

Tomorrow is D’s graduation ceremony. It will be an insanely hectic day. We must leave the house together before 8am ready for gown collecting and then photos. Then get the kids to school before rushing back to the ceremony. I think D managed to get front-row seats due to stick so that would be nice for the leg room. Plus it would appear to me that trying to walk down a row of seats all cramped together will be a challenge and if I fall it’ll embarrass her. So then an Uber back to the house because of the dogs, while D does the after party. Hopefully, it’ll all go smoothly.

D also wants a divorce. She has her reasons and she has free will. She didn’t sign up to be married to someone like me, the last fall was the last straw really. I’ve signed up for universal credit and a housing association today. She removed me from her application so now I’m setup to go at it alone. Hopefully, they will be quick. Till then. Sofa.

Fun times.
