I think I answered this on a blog I had years and years ago. I think they are missing the ‘and why?’ at the end of the question. I would bring back any carnivorous dinosaur that is quite high on the food chain. I would then have an island dedicated to them and lock in hunters with them. Rather than shouting at a poor, defenseless bird, they can hunt something that actually might kill them. See if they survive. Not pro or anti-hunt, more pro than anti but only as I spent most of my childhood in the countryside. There would be cameras across the island streaming these brave hunters fighting against animals that are hunting them at the same time.
