Back in 2021, my company MyOutsourcedIT had a backlog of clients. So basically I run a company where people donate laptops and other devices and then I pass them back out refurbished into the community for free. Well, it was early days in the business, I had no laptops left but plenty of desktops. I rang around the next 20 people on the list and said I can drop them off. It was Christmas Eve, rushing around people’s houses giving them computers till 7pm at night. I was shattered but was nice to see how thankful people were. And suspicious as they kept asking “Free?”.
