Tipping!
Its more common sense than anything else but my Granny used to always say that when you are staying in a place for more than a few nights, pick a waiter and drop him a large tip and then you will magically have someone there to take your order or top up your drink.
I do this, even when it might not vbe welcome, to 90% of the services I use, always 20% unless they do something wrong but no pressure. In the UK I’m not sure tipping is the same as it is in America. You hear lots of people complaining over there that they get shafted on tips. I like to think that the tips I give here go to that actual person or the kitchen staff get a cut of it.
