QOTD – I don’t know how I would react, but I like to think that I could handle it. The handful of memories I keep are underneath my phone case. So, from each child, I have something they have made or a memory that is attached to it. I haven’t been through it in a while, so it could need updating from the kids.
I would miss my comics? Not really, they can be replaced. In fact, most things in the house could be replaced if it came to it. Maybe the tapestry my Oma made which hangs in the lounge, Mum and Dad’s ashes in the urns. They couldn’t be replaced. I’m struggling to think, haha. Maybe I’m not as sentimental as I thought I was.
I guess living in a motel for months kind of makes you realize how little you can live on without things from home. Apart from the people, there isn’t much that I miss. I have my trading cards here with me, as well as clothes, etc.
