Have you ever performed on stage or given a speech?

Yes. Plenty of performing on stage as a kid in primary school doing various plays. Which I’m sure my teacher, Mr Ed, keeps on video as blackmail for when he retires.

Unfortunately, I have also done speeches for both my mum and dad at their funerals. They were hard. When mum died I wrote a speech and managed to get through it. It was hard but the hardest part was looking up and seeing all the people. I just focussed on the back of the room and carried on. My dads funeral wasn’t as bad as I knew what I was getting into. Everyone liked the speech so that was good to hear. My dad had a copy of my mums speech he liked it that much. Wish I still had a copy, no idea what happened to the file or where the speech ended up. I stupidly didn’t look for it when Dad died.
